¿Qué Onda? Club de Raquetas

2024- Present

Graphic Design: Brand Identity, Video, Printed Materials, Apparel, Social Media, Website Design Marketing: Launch strategy, Tournament strategy,

Last year, two Brazilians living in Mexico had the wonderful idea of opening a racket club in Mexico City. The goal was to bring and combine Brazilian Beach Tennis and American Pickleball to the Mexican Pádel culture.

They approached us to help build a brand that would express their essential values: well-being, health and joy. They also wanted it to have a little taste of Brazil and its Rio waves, without forgetting, of course, the Mexican architecture and colors that they love so much.

The name was already chosen: “¿Qué Onda?”, a colloquial expression that, in Spanish, means “what’s up?” or “how are you?”

Inspired by the proportions of the courts of each of the three sports, we developed not only the club’s logo, but also an entire design and communications system to be used in any activity that these entrepreneurs-athletes-dreamers could think of. We also had the privilege of bringing on a new collaborator to help us realize this vision @materialbroccoli

Patterns inspired by racket grips, nets and the balls used in the sport.
