Brazilian, has PhD and a Master degree on Film Studies from the University of Lausanne in Switzerland and a Bachelor's degree in Advertising with specialization in Marketing. In addition to other academic related activities such as publishing and presenting papers as well as teaching in several colloquia and other settings in Europe, Brazil, Mexico and Argentina, has professional experience in cinema curation, film critiques, advertising and management. Has published “Umbigo", her first poetry book.

With a vast experience living abroad in the US, Europe and South America, is fluent in English, French, Spanish and has Portuguese as mother tongue. Good communication and public speaking skills, sensitive to diversity, active listener, strive for continual improvement, builds consensus, and is result oriented. Enjoys writing, teaching, researching and tutoring.
