João Pedro Ellery
João Pedro Ellery is a Brazilian-born architect at Arquitectonica NYC. He completed his studies at Syracuse University's School of Architecture. On top of his Bachelor of Architecture, he also completed a Minor in Geography at Syracuse's Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.
At Syracuse University he spent a semester abroad in New York City, where he learned about Urban Systems and Problems, and first engaged with Real Estate Development from a theoretical perspective to a full project development and financial analysis.
His undergraduate thesis looks at the typology of the data center and how one might start to redefine what these environmentally detrimental, yet inevitable, black boxes can be, to create productive technological systems.
